Brooklyn, New Yo...
This is my re-interpretation of a skort. It’s based on one of my earlier projects, a pair of black gauze Sarouel Pants. I used a heavier cotton fabric with some body this time, and shortened the pant legs so that it’s just a hair shorter than the center panel. I wanted it to look almost like a skirt.
The original pattern is from a wonderful Japanese sewing book (isbn 9784471400682) that gives instructions on how to draft your own patterns.
