Net Top – BurdaStyle 07/2011 #104
Sewed with lace for the first time, I thought it awkward at first using stabilizer, but otherwise fine. I found enough of this shiny delicate floral lace in my vintage stash, which is dated around the ’70s, to make it up into the net top. It could be used as a poolside cover-up or as a normal top over a camisole and jeans. In fact I now think the lace is actually quite high-end so it would make a nice evening top. The bias tape edging is a little thin, and its cotton, I probably should have used a satin one
fine vintage c’70s turquoise floral silk lace, thin turquoise blue cotton bias binding.
