For this dress I used Pattern Runway Kimono sleeve dress, with some minor alterations.
It didn’t take much time and I have to say it doesn’t look very proffesional, since it was my first time with stretch fabric. I didn’t realized this fabric had stretch when I bought it, but I thought it was a good opportunity to learn.
Belt is from another dress, but I think it makes a nice contrast and adds some interest, because the dress itself is quite simple!
Overall it is not my favorite dress, but I will repeat it for sure in a different kind of fabric and lined.
Hope you like it! :)
Not sure, kind of silky fabric with a bit of stretch.

I like your dress very much! It’s this every day dress you can wear everywhere! The belt is a super effect! I would love to do such a dress! May I ask if you can give me a little pattern design so I can make it without pattern?

Thank you!
Upper part is something like this: http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/batwing-top, and lower is a rectangle skirt. Upper and lower parts are attached with an elastic. Hope that helps! But If you really like the design I encourage you to buy the pattern, it is worth the 10 dollars!
