Nightdress made from a thrifted blue jersey bedsheet! So soft and comfy. I did not use a pattern for this, instead I traced a favorite tank top onto tissue paper and used that as a guide for fitting the top. I added about 5 inches extra to the middle of the bodice for the smocking (thank you Casey for the great tutorial! I had no idea it was so easy!). I’m going to use binding on the neck and armholes once I wash it back to normal size. I slept in it right after I finished it and stretch it out a bit so I’m afraid if I put it on now before I wash it could bunch everything up. Next I’m going to work on copying a pair of comfy yoga pants out of the rest of this material.

What a beautiful color! That’s my favorite :) I love the smocking, too. This looks oh so comfy. Well done!

Camilaustral – Sorry I was uploading the blue dress and it totally replaced the pink dress so your comment is now attached to this one! I was able to reload the pink one though so you should be able to see it in my creations :) Thanks!
