I became interested in folk costumes and obsessed with traditional skirts. I made this little skirt for my daughter Marie, inspired by czech folk costumes; the fabric is called “modrotisk”, although I´m not sure it´s “real” modrotisk. I´ ve just ordered some traditionally made one (similar to the one the women on the picture wear), so I will know the difference soon :). And I love lace…
