A top I started a couple of months ago and finished while we had a visit from my husband’s cousin. She thought it was great as it’s her favourite colour and so I gave the first one to her. She looks lovely in it. For my one (just had enough fabric left to make a second, the bonus being that I had to economise on the size and went down one -yay!), I added a little ribbon and three little glass beads at the front. I made my own bias tape for the armholes. I love this top and it’s very light and breezy to wear. I have worn it out in the evening, but it could be also a cover-up for the beach and usual day wear.
Light cotton fabric, thread, iron-on interfacing, ribbon, small glass beads
Cousin Ineke for being such a great model!
