My version of the lovely Pendrell pattern by Tasia from Sewaholic.net. I have to say that this was a dream to sew up and I didn’t have to make any alterations! I used a polyester which was a bit tricky to sew with and not my favourite fabric – but I just loved the print…and it dries in a flash and doesn’t need ironing – bonus!

Your version is lovely. I am wearing my own Pendrell at the mo and am having doubts about the sleeves. My sleeves seem really puffy, how are yours?

Hmm…my fabric is quite drapey so I don’t find the sleeves too puffy. But then perhaps it’s just a personal taste thing too? I decided to go with the draped sleeve rather than the ruffles because I’m really not a ruffles kinda girl! :)

I made one out of voile that was not as drapey as I think is intended, so the sleeves are fairly puffy. At first they looked ridiculous, but then altered the sleeve pattern piece and redid them. I plan on taking pictures and posting the top over the weekend. I’ll take a picture comparing my new pattern piece to the original as well.
