I had a blouse from New Look bought by my mother-in-law for my birthday quite a few years ago now. I have washed and worn it hundreds of times because it is so comfortable and always looked nice for spring and summer wear. Finally my husband who does the ironing refused to try and turn in the fraying edges any longer and so he ripped the seams apart and told me to make another! (Cheek) This is the result of using the old blouse as a pattern and the pictures taken by moi don’t do it justice. The fabric is a lovely viscose, super soft and lovely to wear. (Donated fabric again but think it was a skirt originaly that had also been taken apart) Not a hundred percent sure on the choice of trim but I had cut it out and wanted to start sewing. It was the only thing in my stash that sort of went with it. Will certainly be making another one as it was easy to put together. If I knew how to load up a pattern I would certainly share it if someone would be willing to go through the procedure with me.
