  I love this skirt! did you just do pleats all the way around? How did you figure how much fabric?

    thanks.. yup, it’s pleats all the way around.. i wasn’t thinking about fabric too much, i had maybe 1,2 m of it, cut it in half lengthwise, sewn those two rectangles to make one very long rectangle, and pleated free hand.. pin every pleat in place as you go, and when you’re over, match the size to waistband.. easy peasy, i do that all the time.. if it’s too long, or two short you unpin some of the last pleats and pin again

  I love this skirt! such an awesome print and shape looks great on you. Is ithis a self drafted pattern? do you mind if I ask, Did you just use a recangular peice for the skirt, or are the peices shaped, as in a circle skirt?? Great job on it!

    thank you, mollykatherine.. no pattern needed for this.. just two very wide rectangles, sewn together and pleated (not neatly, just freely shaped).. and one interfaced rectangle for the waistband..

    hvala, slatka :) .. nije zapravo ni bilo nekog ozbiljnog krojenja, samo dva cetvorougla skupljena faltama na obim struka, ali sam bas zadovoljna kako je ispalo
