Description

A cape I made for my mum..based on the cape dracula pattern but I added a hood and toggle button/ string

I definitely need to work on my edges and finishes or whatever you want to call them, but i think it’s kinda cute and my mum likes it which is the most important thing of all :)

    Sammy, I love the lining fabric the contrast is just fantastic – I have a cape to make for my sister, from a 70’s pattern my mum had, I was sort of stuck on the plainness of it but you inspire! – thanks!

      thanks! they sell material in the ikeas in sydney for curtains and things..it’s a bit more heavy duty, but it was so cute it was hard to pass up on it

    naw thanks guys :D umm yeh i have a pattern for it, it was the cape dracula pattern that was on the old burdastyle website..i dunno if they put it up on this one

    yeh, i think i might try making a duct tape bodice :)
