I made this dress as a “muslin” for my made of honour dress. This is actually the undergarment but I constructed it so it van also be worn seperatly. There is nothing I hate more then making stuff that I can hardely wear. Luckely the muslin was already quitte. Now I have and extra dress!
I do need to make some adjustments. I ave to adjust the bust area a litlle. And I should insert the zipper in a better way. The actual dress will have a invisible zipper, and boning. I didn’t ad boning in this dress. But because it fits very snug it stays up.
I adapted the bustier part of the 11/2011 leather dress. I made it longer, and erased the sweathart neckline. I drew my own skirtpiece. I love flared skirts! (only the bustier piece is available through burdastyle)
