A pencil skirt I made for a friend using her measurements, I used some help from the skirt block drafting tutorial here on Burdastyle. The bow is attached to a safety pin, so she could place it wherever she likes. She decided to put the bow on the lower back of the skirt where the slit would be (she requested no slit). I added a satin cheetah print lining to the inside for a very nice touch of I do say so myself. By the way, when she put the skirt on, you could no longer see the print of the lining. I think it might have been because of the flash…
I used a thicker cotton fabric, the color is “Pacific” blue, absolutely Beautiful! The lining is satin cheetah print.
