This is my version of Butterick 5748, one of the patterns in their “retro” line. I made it with a set of old curtains I found in a thrift store! I think they make a perfect summer sundress.
I modified the skirt a little to better suit the one-way design of the fabric, making it gored rather than the half-circle of the original pattern. It’s fully lined with a light yellow cotton broadcloth and has a side zipper. The bow is removable.
