I love the pattern for the anda dress because is so easy and it has so much potential; when I saw this fabric at the store I knew it would be perfect for the anda pattern. I added some pockets ( I love dresses with pockets) and made it fitter (like my flower anda dress). I use elastic for the waist.
elastic for the waist instead of doing the casing thingy.

Hello! I love this dress and I think it’s perfect how your Anda turned out! One question; how did you do the elastic in the waist? Thanks!

Hi. the total lenght of my elastic I cut it in half and sew with a zig-zag stich. one half to the front and the other one to the back of the dress in the waistline, I finally sew my pieces together and I made sure that the elastic from each side matched up. hope it helps :D

ooohhh… i’m getting a craze to sew another Anda!!! Yours is beautiful, and I love the idea of adding pockets! Maybe I should try that as well.. (it will be my first attempt at pockets!) Thank you for the inspiration :)
