I’m getting ahead of myself here and now sewing for cooler weather. These running pants are from a trouser pattern from My Image (M1253B from the Autumn/Winter 2012-13 issue.) I used a navy blue nylon/spandex with a black athletic mesh for the side panels. I’ve not had much success with sewing pants previously and have declared the upcoming season my “Winter of Sewing Pants That Fit”. I start here with a knit pair because this sort of fabric is so forgiving— a good way to get motivated to move onto woven. See more on my blog Kathy Sews.
