This bag is based on Hyperart Quickie Clutch/Bag.
I enlarged the pattern quite a bit (don’t ask how much I can’t remember how much I put into the photocopier!) and instead of the side strap I added two strap/handles to the top of the bag.
I was umming and arrring about what to put, if anything as the accent on the bag as usually the bag is made out of two contrasting fabrics with a button or bow on the upper body piece. I was ferreting around in my button jar looking for a button for my wrap dress when I found this cool retro/antique button in metal and blue and knew that was the one! The lining is regular sunsilk lining in the same blue to match the button.
Black satin I found in my scraps bag, antique button, blue sunsilk lining. Had the zip and interfacing already – so bag cost me about $3.00!!!!
