I finally finished this super easy Burda 7402 blouson top pattern after sitting half finished for about a year. I wish I had finished much sooner as I really like this blouson batwing sleeve top with elastic encased hem and have seen styles similar to it in high-end shops for at least $100 dollars if not 2x that! I made this with French seams at the shoulder and side seams and left off the neck facings and instead made little rolled hems at the neck and arm openings. This silk chiffon fabric is very light weight, super soft to the touch and sheer but also frays a lot, so French seams and tiny rolled hems were essential. I love this top and look forward to wearing it!
