Description

I wanted to make a 20’s style summer blouse that was a little romantic, but that would also work well with jeans.
The blouse has puffed sleeves, yokes and gathers both in the front and back. I’ve drafted the pattern myself.

The cotton lace inserts is dyed in regular Ceylon tea to make it look vintage. The lace was white when I stared but after 5 min in the cup it had a nice yellow/pinkish tone, that is colourfast.

Material Notes

Thinly woven rayon and cotton lace inserts.

I like your blouse a lot! DOes the tea dyeing technique work only with cotton lace?
