A light floaty blouse to wear with my bright pink jeans. I made this pretty blouse using Burda magazine pattern #139, 6/2012. I had to down size this pattern to fit me which was quite easy as this is a straight forward pattern.

I can’t say I like the peplum trend, but this one looks so cheerful and easy to wear!

Thanks, I too can’t say I am a fan of the peplum but there have been some gorgeous examples lately and I think they look great on others but most likely not on me.

Hi! You´ve been busy alright! Love this blouse. The print and the colours are vibrant and so spring-y! Yeah! I want to see it with you in it too!

Thanks Merche. This is the same pattern you used to make your girlfriend a blouse. One day I will get my daughter over when she isn’t working to become a photographer for me. She usually pops over for dinner on her way home from work at night and the light isn’t great for photographs.

Thanks. I actually bought the bright pink jeans in a sale in Paris in July and found this fabric at the Fabric Store when I got home. I have made lots of pants over the years and know where to tweak to fit my body. But when I change pattern company’s I usually find problems which I have done today. But it isn’t a major problem fortunately.

Thanks Ralf. Yes, I wish I had a photographer handy but I never seem to find one when I need one.
