i really wanted to make a pussy bow version of the jonny dress, but didn’t have enough fabric so i decided to make a blouse instead. As this is only my second creation, there are a few things that i’m not happy with, the sleeves aren’t long or wide enough i would have preferred them to be fuller. This is also the very first time i’ve attempted button holes! the collar is very big and hangs quite low but you learn from your mistakes and i still love it! i just love the fabric!

I liked my jonny best before I put the skirt on. I think it would make a cute little vestlike shirt too, sleeveless. kp

I really like it, it looks very Biba-esque, and the sleeves look perfect! I might have to try this one myself.

Wow! You are great. I cannot believe that with so little experience you make so beautiful clothes. Amazing. I cannot imagine what you are going to post in 1-2 years!!! That gives me a lot for courage. I am a newbie so I think there is hope for me… Keep up the great work, we are waiting for more of your creations!

I really like the collar as well, it shows off your collar bones nicely. As for the sleeves, they look like they fit perfectly in the picture! Anyway, don’t be so hard on yourself and enjoy your creations!!

Thanks you guys!!! i think next time i try this collar i will make the pussy bow wider, and maybe i’ll try interfacing!!! i was still a little unsure when making this so i did without, but i think i would be beneficial to the collar!

Wow! You may not like this collar, but I think it actually makes the top much more flattering. I’ve always wanted to make one of those shirts but knew I couldn’t pull off the high collar, so this would be a perfect alteration. You did a wonderful job. :)
