Now this is sg I’m really happy about! This was the first time I ever tried something close to a collar. I’m not brave enough for a real one yet, but it’s a start. :) (9/2010 BM)

it is a very nice blouse and a great effort. Do not be afraid to try a collar- try making little samples, until you are happy with the result- the real deal will feel very simple then

That fabric is perfect for the shirt! It drapes so nicely. Great work!
I see you are in Hungary, so am I, where do you buy your fabric? I’ve been to the Burda shop in Budapest but they didn’t have a big selection. Any recommendation?~Tillie

Too bad u r not in Bp… My favorite shop is “I love textil”. Not the place to go to when you have a perfect idea of what you want, it’s better to go often to see what they have: I usually find sg which “will be good for sg”… Ha! Are you hungarian?

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to check that shop out soon.
No, I’m not Hungarian. I am American living in Hungary for my husband’s job. We’ve been here a year and will stay 2-4 more years.
I love the food, wine and people here! Budapest is one of my favorite cties too. They have a Starbucks coffee shop! :0)

(I’m sorry! I accidentally marked your post!! Sorry!!)
I was going to say: nice to have you here! But when do you find the time to have a starbucks coffee with 5 kids?! :)
P.S.: The shop adresses are on the net, I think.
