Description

For the blouse I have used checked poplin. The pattern is from Bonnie 01/1996 :) I have top-stitched the seams with zig-zag for decoration.
I have used striped linen for the pants and it’s based on pattern #108 Burda 07/2007. It’s very comfortable to wear, specially in summertimes :)

Thank you very much! I have used 3-times zig-zag stiches, but I got an advise from another seamstress that it’s possible to use 3 treads at the same time in the needle, but I have not tried it yet..

I just love this shirt and the pants. I too love the detail on the shirt and the triple zig zag looks perfect.

What a lovely outfit. I bet you must have had quiet a challange sewing the blouse fabric in such a nice pattern. You sure did a good job in that! Also the pants are great looking and both fits you perfectly.

What a pretty look!!! I love checked shirts in any patterns and yours is very nice. Zigzag top stitches add freshness to the black and white. And the pants look lovely on you – they show your slim figure in the best way:-)
