I have been looking for a new and different summer top and this is PERFECT!! I would like to have an outline or guide as to how I can make this. Will you please share your creative steps for this top?

Thank you. Glad you like it. It was really fairly easy. I used a stash of knit fabric that I had. Measured myself across the bust from side to side and added seam allowance on both ends then doubled. Length should be from top of bust to below hip. Measure back, side to side+ seam allowance, do not double unless you are planning to pin tuck the back as well. Make small overlapping folds every couple inches sewing about 2 to 3" down. Marking or pinning your fabric first will help, or eye it up as you go. You should have material left over, just cut off to your measurement + seam allowance. Sew front to back. Same with straps, made them about 4" and pin tucked. Applied store bought trim. For the bottom I measured my hip, cut the fabric that length + seam allowance, width 4" Sew ends together to make circle. Fold in half, right side out and pin open ends, front band to front top making small pinches of top to fit into band. Note open ends of band should match up with bottom edge of top. Sew. It blouses over that way. Or you could just finish it off with a hem. Hope I was clear enough.
