I made shoes in a course in London (post on my blog), and needed a blazer to go with them… I sewed up a pattern from CUT Nr. 8 1/13, which had this leather detail on the shoulder. I used left-over leather from my shoes and have a match made in heaven :-)
CUT makes patterns for beginner sewers, the instructions are very easy to follow. Next time, I would use a more advanced technique for the hem, but all in all, I really like this blazer. It is slightly shiny, which makes it hard to photograph…
Photos and info about my shoes (and this blazer) are on my blog Of Dreams and Seams
