Description

For the blazer I have used pattern #1a Burda easy fashion 02.2013. Originally I bought this fabric for sewing a dress, but I thought it was too stiff and decided to sew a blazer instead. It’s medium weight cotton/satin fabric and I think it’s very nice. For the lining I have use micro satin which are very soft. I was wearing it for the first time when we travelled to Copenhagen :)
The cowl tank is based on pattern #101 Burda 06.2013. I have used jersey with silver and it’s very soft. It’s sewn with double layer as in the pattern. The upper layer is with gathering and the inner layer is a lining. I love this pattern and it’s very comfy to wear!

Material Notes

Cotton/satin and micro satin.
Jersey with lurex.

The top is so feminine and in the combination with the jacket makes a perfect match. Red accessoires enliven the look and make it special. Very nice.

Great travelling outfit. The top is so nice on you, the fabric is neat. I love travelling in clothes that are wrinkle free!! Good choice of fabric for the jacket.

The jacket is so lovely and it drapes perfectly on you. Love the shimmery look of the cowl top as well. And the tote bag is fabulous ! All in all, it’s a great choice for travelling.
