I am not a lover of technology and this phone is not my friend. Having said that I am determined not to kill it (as I do tend to kill things on a regular basis, this was my fourth phone last year!) so I made a very quick case from some left over material.
The case has two layers – the cotton outer and a fleece liner. I stitched the layers together in perpendicular lines to make the quilted effect. There is cream piping, which was a pain to sew but apparently taking your time is the key!, and then just hand sewed the top.
A fun and easy project all round. =D

you did a great work with the piping, I have always wanted to sew piping into something but I’m still on the fence with it.

Ah thank you pink-cornelia! I think it was only hard because I was going round curves. In the end I pinned it very carefully on one side, stiched it with a zipper foot, then put the two sides together, pinned the cord side down so it didn’t move and went over the first line again. Worth the effort though I think – give it a try!
