I wanted to try making some skirts, this is my first try. I like how it came out overall, although I think in the future I won’t buy fabric with such a busy pattern. I didn’t have a pattern, just followed basic directions for a rectangle skirt and the directions here (http://community.livejournal.com/sew_loli/967045.html#cutid1) for a half elastic waistband tutorial. I also added pin-tucks because they seemed like fun, but I just made them by half guessing and looking at examples. (You can’t really see them because of how busy the fabric pattern is).
Cotton fabric, about 2 yards.
30 select jacket and coat patterns are now marked down to $3.99.
