This is what I made on Saturday. It took me the whole afternoon to sew it, but luckily I got it finished just in time, and wore it in the evening.
I’ve also made the headpiece by myself.
No pattern was used.
Dress: a bit elastic, black fabric and buttons
Headpiece: white cotton, pearls, lace, satin ribbon and a tiny cameo.
Novice
I was inspired by a dress I saw in a blog called Sally Jane Vintage (http://sallyjanevintage.blogspot.com/2007/09/i-found-this-dress-at-fairfax-flea.html)

The bow on the back is a perfect detail! Very chic dress. The Fascinator goes great with this dress. How about a How-To on the fascinator?
