This is still one of my favorite pattern; #114 Burda 05/2009. I have used wrinkle poplin and black cotton with embroidery (it’s not so easy to see it on the pictures).
I have cut the skirt on bias, and therefore it feels like it is a bit stretchy. At the empire waist it’s a tunnel, so you can have a ribbon with bow decoration. The dress has rubber band around neck and at the end of the sleeves. I wasn’t sure if I should use a white or a black zipper at the back, but I think I made the right choice with the white one :)
