The fabric of this dress is a glorious rayon – I bought it not knowing what I would make because I loved the weight of it, the soft texture, and the interesting pattern. I find t-shirt dresses the easiest to wear on a day to day basis, and the looseness of the pattern (Butterick B5488) was perfect for the drape of the fabric. The belt is wide elastic and is attached to the dress – easy to wear!
