LOL Your top is beautiful. I have been looking for some black velvet of this sort. All I have been able to find was that kind of rough stuff. I found some cream but after a while it will begin to look cheesy and cheap so I didn’t even bother with it. I would like to know the closure too. And does this velvet have little stretch to it?

No, it doesn’t stretch. The closure is a zipper in the back, exactly in the same place as in the Danielle pattern. Hm, I don’t know how to help about the material – I live in Germany, and black velvet is pretty easy to get here. Dunno about other countries…

Now i feel like I should hav bought lots of it while I was there. I lived in Kitzingen while doing my military tour.
I love the country. I want to come back…to live. I had a lot of fun there. Anyhow, I still love your top and love how you integrated the two patterns.

I really love this. Beautiful. I would totally have this in my wardrobe. Does it have a central back zip? What is the closure method?

Yeah, it has a central zipper in the back, exactly in the same place as the Danielle pattern.

This is lovely. There is too little black velvet these days! Where did you get your fabric?

At a fabric market in Koblenz, from some Dutch traders. But black velvet shouldn’t be that hard to find…?
