Description

Today I’m presenting my latest creation, a „little black jacket“ in Chanel style. The thick tweed is woven with an interesting dull chess pattern. I got this from a French mercer, it’s original Chanel fabric.
The jacket is sewed with pattern No. 123 from Burdastyle 6/2013. I like raglan cuts like this one, they are comfortable and and the sleeves fit well around my shoulders. The embellishment is made with a sequin/fringe border and another border in black-white.

If you are interested to read more about this project and about what I’m doing, I would love it to welcome you at my new sewing, fashion, and lifestyle 50+ blog:
