This is a dress I made for an old years night. It’s a very simple self drafted shift dress with pleated sleeves. I used cotton jersey to line the materal as it’s quite scratchy and see through. This fabric is used alot in costume making and as such is inexpensive. I decided to use it because I had no intentions of wearing the dress time and time again and the sequins caught my eye. A simple shift dress pattern can be used with an attractive fabric to make a beautiful garment.
