A NEW skirt! Inspired by all of you here at Burdastyle (I just HAD to take up sewing again, and this seemed easy enough to tackle after a long break).
I sure need practice! I had to pin the waist in three times, and I managed to turn every piece of it the wrong way at least once… (=loads of sewing for just one skirt). But here it is and I want more! I’m planning to make a tulle underskirt to wear with it (just gotta find the time to!)
Funny thing is, I never wear skirts, I’m a true jeans-girl, but I enjoy making them…
Black satin-like (but simple) cotton with a tad of lycra.
