A leather needle? interesting. i read somewhere that it should be a very fine needle…. i am about to sew some sequinned fabric myself so will give both a test-run.

Gorgeous! It’s got a swinging 60s feel to it – and I love the triple ribbon trim. I’m too terrified to try sewing sequined fabric, though I love it :-)

Thank you! I wasn’t keen on sewing such a tricky fabric either, but it was much easier than I thought it would be. I found using a leather needle on my machine helped stitch through all of the sequins.
