After the success of this peplum top, I recut another version of Vogue 8815 in our Black Ponti LWK Light Weight. This top is super quick and easy to make and works really well in ponti knits. Next I’ll have to try one out in a woven fabric, not right now though… I’m peplum-ed out!
I used the same new invisible zipper method and ironed fusible tape to the centre back seam (ending just past zipper mark), this helped to stabalize the stretch and seam when sewing in the 45cm invisible zipper.
PS. I forgot to mention here that I eliminated the back shoulder dart by pivoting it out on the pattern.
