My first Burda PDF pattern ever! It’s the Mini Pleated Skirt from 5/2012. I liked the fly zip, the angled yoke and the front pleats. The skirt was pretty easy, though I had to consult an external tutorial for the fly zipper. Just beware — the welt pockets on the back of this skirt are drafted to be completely fake, so if you make this skirt and want to use REAL welt pockets, you’re on your own.
Also, I found that the front of the skirt was way larger than the back, which makes the side seam sit farther back than the actual side of your body. Be careful with the placement of your pockets for this reason… If you just chop off the sides of your fronts to accommodate, you’ll end up with tiny pocket openings that won’t fit your hands!
