The pattern worked out well. I put the zipper in the side instead of in the back. I also deepened the curve in the back seam to make the dress fit my waist better. Unfortunately, the stripes don’t match up at all on the back seam. If I make this dress again with pliad or stripes, I’ll cut the back piece on the fold and add darts so that I won’t have the matching problem on the seam.

My hats off to you! This dress you made looks wonderful!! I love this dress with plaid fabric and I have a stash of plaid earmarked for this pattern. Your great creation of this dress (and others as well) motivates me to get mine made for Fall!
