I’m very pleased with this one, and I’m planning to make a matching top in black silk with some details in the cotton print, but what model would be the best?
Cotton print that I bought in a street market in Haikou, China. Black silk.
Burdastyle.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m gonna use piping somehow.

Very nice, very elegant! Keep it simple and fitted with the top, piping sounds good.

Nice skirt. I love that print. As far as tops go, the wide shape of Michelle kind of suggests that a fitted top would be nice, so how about Burdastyle’s Margarete top. I think you could use the printed fabric for piping or make some kind of applique from it on the lower piece of the top.
