Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Black evening dress made of silky taffeta, soft chiffon and transparent soft net. The bodice has taffeta petals fixed on the net, around the bust area, arms and neck, symmetrically. The neckline comes around the neck in front and in a deep V line at the back. There are black glass beads around the edges. All the embellishments (petals and beads) are handmade. The dress has a waistband, fixed from the waist line up, to create a longer silhouette. The dress is lined with nude anti static lining, and it’s short at the bottom. Zip fastening at the back.
It takes 90 hours to complete this dress.
The black belt is handmade by my friend, Bianca. It’s made of Mallorca pearls and black sand beads, black jasp stones, all fixed on a black grosgrain band.
