This past summer after spending again a good amount of time sewing a dress that I’m, at the end, not sure to like/wear, I’ve decided that it was time to step back a little and really think about what kind of clothes and which patterns I should choose to avoid wasting my time.
So I started with real basics : the black shorts .
Pattern : Maritime shorts Grainline Studio, a safe bet according to all the great comments about it on the internet.
Fabric : black linnen, classic!
The pattern may be a safe bet yes, if you read carefuly the instructions, which I didn’t of course! And I added seam allowance to a pattern that already have the seam allowance included! I know CLASSIC MISTAKE!!!
