Olcott, New York...
This Sheer black lace gown was designed specificly for the model Sharon TK. As a custom order. In return she sent me this great photo of her in the design I made just for her by request for this shoot.
Sharon asked for a very fitted sheer black lace gown that would flair out below the knees. Basicly a mermaid styled gown, strapless and made of sheer lace.
Its a simple shape/design to make once you figure out where to place the seams/darts. I found that with lace you can use the seams to create a beautiful shape and interesting detail. Notice the side seams under her bust line, that highlight her waistline and show how fitted the dress is. This was the effect she was looking for. something artistic, edgy but still can toss a slip on under it to wear it about hte town if needed.
For this specific shoot she paired the design with latex under garments so you can really see the fun and interesting seaming along the waist, the knees.
I hope you enjoy ths design! I had alot of fun working with one of my dream clients!
I hope to add more photos an maybe a simple pattern to help anyone looking to make this in any fabric really!
