Description

Black stretch lace cardigan using the featured pattern, cut the sleeves to 3/4. The cardigan itself was fairly straight forward however the neck and button hole bands were massively tricky because of the slight stretch and flimsy fabric, turned out very wonky and inaccurate :-/
It’s a size 42 and fairly small (I’m UK 10/12) so I sewed the front up and the buttons are purely decorative to avoid gaping between the buttons
Not perfect but hopefully wearable :)

This is gorgeous, I love your lace! Thanks for the sizing info, too – I’ve heard this pattern runs small so it’s appreciated (I’m a UK 14 and always sew a Burda size 42 but I’ll give this one generous side seams!)

The burda sizes massively confuse me! Def go up one or add a bit of room in this though as it did that horrible gapey stretch across the boobs/stomach thing. X
