I liked this pattern as soon as I saw it in the burda issue, I loved this dramatic neckline. I used jersey for this, not a good choise because the neckline was gapping due to the drapery of the fabric. I put elastic to stabilize it and now it is perfect, sexy and wide but no fear that somebody will see my bra! I skipped the bubble hem. I also skipped the bands at the bottom of the sleeves, I just made a tunnel with elastic. I also added lace to give it a little more interest.
This was a test garment in reality, somehow a muslin to see how this neckline would look on me. Despite the problems that I had with it, I like it and I will wear it. It’s easy to dress it down and to color it up with accessories. Now I want to make this pattern again with a more suitable fabric.
