Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I had been wanting a new vest, so I decided to try sewing one. Overall I’m pretty happy with how it came out, although it has a few issues. I changed the shape of the pocket flaps to resemble 18th century ones, and left off the back belt because I don’t really like those for some reason. This was my first time sewing buttonholes, so they aren’t the nicest ones, but I was pretty excited about learning how to do them _
Material Notes
Two kinds of leftover black fabric (some kind of suit weight fabric and some unidentified stuff for lining the front pieces) and basic lining fabric. Silver buttons.

Thanks! The flaps are only decorative, which is according to the pattern. I had wanted to make them into real pockets, but they would have been too small to hold much so I didn’t bother.
