Black Flower Tie Back Dress

Added Mar 1, 2009

by brownlow3

Dalhart, Texas, ...

A dress that utalizes ties to get the perfect weist fit. It called for a zipper in the back but, I am basicly the same size up and down that I got away with not putting a zipper in. I have chosen a dark black to contrast with the lighter black floral fabric. The one thing that I did not like about the finished dress is that it dips a little to low in the front for my taste.

Very lovely use of fabric. What pattern did you use? Maybe you can sew up the middle front seam just a little to make it more comfortable for you, cause it really is a pretty dress! I bet you’d look great in it!

I really like the way your dress came out. :o) You can wear a little black camy and not worry about how low it is. I might just have to make one for myself. Was this your own pattern? Thanks for sharing.
