I used NewLook 6224. I chose view A , and on the pattern cover this looked kinda 70s . But i was surprised at the outcome of my own dress. I feel its got a very strong 40s style, especially the sleeves ,which make me feel like an overgrown Shirley Temple ( which isnt necessarily a bad thing !) I got the fabric online ,and ran out so got more for the swooshy skirt part. Im determined to find a way to wear this as a day dress, cos I dont like having a wardrobe full of dresses that get worn once in a blue moon .
