This time I was inspired by those lovely 1950 cocktail dress while designing this kimono tee. I combined black organza and some left-over floral chiffon. I still felt I needed more coverage over the bust so I extended the floral chiffon on the front of the tee and left it lower on the back. I also added some shark tooth edgeing and tried a scallop stitch on the sleeve edges. I was a little tired so I didn’t do the french seams and it looks a little sloppy. So no harm and lesson learned.
