Had some spare time so I made myself a dress for the summer – haven’t wear it yet though…
Neckline is crocheted ( hairpin lace to be exact ) with bambu wool. And I’m “wearing” the most beautiful “accessory” I have – my cat :D
Wrinkeled cotton

Thank you all for your compliments,I’m blushing here :D We have quite a lot courses about traditional needle & crochet techniques and I’m very keen on trying to mix up modern and traditional designs. And hairpin lace is one of my favourites,as well as frovolité lace.I have one dsign I hope I’ll someday manage to do – a long evening dress from duchésses silk with plastron made of frovolite lace. Making it will take ages,so let’s see if it ever happens :)

Very beautiful. I would love to see the front, with your accessory, too! Your lace is awe inspiring. Nice idea to connect the lace with the other piece.

:) Thank you! The front looks quite same, the lace is stiched slightly on the right side to avoid being too symmetrical. I try to get a pic from it someday :)

I love the look of combining these two things together. The hair pin lace is lovely.
