This dress I sew for Christmas black&white party. I wanted to add a white flower, but I don’t have time to create it. I used pattern from Burdamagazine 11/2009.

What you should do is add the other side to the dress and make it white. but NOT a poof sleeve but a sleek one maybe a material that has a sparkle to it, maybe a thick/raw silk-like material, and have it meet the rest of the dress at the top as a V-neck or asymetrical v-neck. It will add white, keep the poof showcased and add some glitz and some understated allure with the form fitting sleeve. Then get some black and white jewellery that’s half and half with black on the white side and white on the black side. It should be chunky.

I agree with the above comments – the line of this dress is just fantastic – that puffed sleeve so classy. You’ve done a wonderful job and you look gorgeous in it. The white flower would be the perfect way to finish it off. Just lovely!

I love the puffed sleeve together with the simple line of the dress! Looks great on you, and the fabric seams to work well with this pattern.
